"The Ghost of Kurosawa" - Chrono Phantom Edition
When the initial idea of creating a figure that looks like Darth Vader was discussed, it was inspired by Japanese film director and screenwriter - Akira Kurosawa (the director who inspired George Lucas when he was creating Star Wars). Regarded as one of the most important and influential filmmakers in the history of cinema, Hidden Fortress, one of his movies is also the name of the collective that Quiccs started.
Quiccs, a global renown visual artist who works in several mediums, including street art, illustration, and canvas work. Having collaborated with Adidas Philippines on numerous limited edition releases, Quiccs has successfully infused street art into our everyday lives.
Demster, an established Singaporean urban artist, a graphic designer by training. As a member of the famous local art group RSCLS, the group focuses on propagating acts of artistic nonsense through open uninhibited random collaborations and discourse.
To make this collaboration unique, we made the decision to create a one of a kind anodized gun metal colour molle tag for each of the “Sin City Pack”.
Inspired by the samurai sword handle wrap, the STEALTH-X Wristlet is tailored wrapped with dual paracord colours to complement the detail of The Ghost of Kurosawa.
Flabslab, an independent multi-disciplinary platform, has been collaborating with artists and designers all around the world for the past decade. The collective also creates its own collectibles with unique art forms. The objective has been very simple; to make the world fun again.
Fistful Of Wolves, a Singaporean brand that creates Velcro patches through unique artistic perspectives and expressions, renowned for its Oni Mask Collections in the patch collectors’ world. The "GOK Oni Mask Patch" is a special release to celebrate this mega collab.
Every molle tag is numbered on the back and matched with the bust as a mark of our commemorative collaboration.
We are extremely honoured to be part of this unique collaboration where we successfully combined works of art from various disciplines into an ultimate joy of collection.
